As Systems Administrator, you will own the reliability, security, and day-to-day operation of TZLA’s integrated technology ecosystem.
This is a hands-on role with leadership-level responsibility: you will keep core systems stable, enforce access hygiene, and turn recurring operational pain into repeatable, documented systems.
You will report to the Technology Lead and ensure work moves through a clear intake, change control, and release cadence, with small-batch improvements shipping consistently.
Maintain a clear, pragmatic system architecture across the stack (identity/access, data flow, automations, and documentation)
Keep decisions lightweight, documented, and enforceable
Operate and harden the core stack (Notion, GoHighLevel, Zendesk, Google Workspace, hosting/infrastructure)
Own monitoring, backups, disaster recovery, and incident response readiness
Provide basic troubleshooting to unblock teammates when home-office connectivity or device issues impact work
Support via Telegram and remote session
Triage, document, and escalate when needed
Examples include:
WiFi/router quirks
VPN issues
Google Workspace access
Browser issues
Email/calendar problems
Notion access issues
Provide technical support and trainings that stick
Publish SOPs and operational standards
Run permission/access hygiene
Establish “how we do things” standards so the organization moves faster with less risk
Run a disciplined cadence with weekly shipping where possible
Track automation health, failures, time-to-fix, and recurring root causes
Improve operational reliability month over month
3+ years of systems administration experience (or equivalent hands-on ownership of multi-system SaaS infrastructure)
Strong understanding of cloud-based services and SaaS platforms
Proficient in documentation and knowledge management systems (Notion)
Experience with CRM systems (GoHighLevel)
Knowledge of customer support platforms (Zendesk)
Proficient with APIs for system integration and data exchange (Zapier and/or similar)
Strong experience with user access management, permission structures, and security best practices
Strong incident response mindset: detect, triage, contain, recover, and write prevention plans
Ability to learn new technologies quickly, troubleshoot effectively, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical teammates
Experience with email server management and Google Workspace administration
Familiarity with hosting and infrastructure management
Experience with educational technology platforms
Knowledge of AI integration and implementation
Experience with crypto and trad-fi processing systems and fintech tooling
Experience with community management platforms such as Telegram
Background in inventory management systems
Notion: Wiki, project management, documentation systems
CRM & Automations: GoHighLevel; Zapier (and/or similar) for integrations
Communications: Telegram groups, Google Workspace
Support Signals: Zendesk (member and admission ticket management)
System uptime and service reliability across the core stack
Security posture (access hygiene, permission accuracy, and access review cadence)
Mean time to detect and mean time to resolve for operational incidents
Backup / restore readiness and disaster recovery reliability
Automation reliability (integration error rate, alerting coverage, and time-to-fix)
