📚 Digital Content Lead
Mexico
Full Time
Position Overview
TZLA Club is hiring a full-time Digital Content Lead to build and run the organization’s content pipeline, turning scattered knowledge into clear, reusable, versioned content that teams can ship and maintain. This role reports to the Digital Manager and owns the standards, workflow, and quality bar for how TZLA creates, reviews, publishes, and maintains written content across departments, including direct oversight of a Copywriter.
The mandate is simple: reduce noise, reduce repeat questions, and increase operational throughput by making sure the right information exists, is easy to find, and stays correct as the organization evolves.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Information Architecture: Design the content operating model (content types, taxonomy, ownership, review loops, versioning, archive rules) and keep it coherent as we scale.
Content Pipeline & Governance: Own the end-to-end workflow (intake → draft → SME review → revision → approval → publish → maintenance) and keep cycle time low without compromising accuracy.
Systems & Operations: Implement the workflow in Notion (templates, properties, dashboards, and custom workflows where applicable) so content moves through predictable stages with clear handoffs.
Cross-Functional Execution: Partner with SMEs (Member Experience, Production, Operations, Legal) to translate real-world work into practical SOPs, decision trees, FAQs, and reference docs.
Leadership & Team Building: Lead the Copywriter’s weekly priorities, review output before publishing, and enforce a consistent voice across member-facing and internal documentation.
Quality & Accountability: Set the editorial standard (clarity, structure, compliance language, naming conventions), and define measurable throughput and quality checks.
Required Skills
3+ years in content operations, technical writing, knowledge management, information architecture, or process design in a high-velocity environment
Proven ability to build a repeatable publishing workflow (not just write docs), including review gates and ownership
Strong judgment and prioritization: ability to distinguish one-off requests from recurring patterns worth standardizing
High editorial standards in English: concise writing, precise definitions, and zero ambiguity. Must be able to coach, edit, and approve copy produced by a Copywriter
Comfort working asynchronously across multiple teams and driving completion without heavy meetings
Preferred Skills
Experience building internal knowledge bases for support teams (help center, macros, troubleshooting trees)
Experience writing SOPs for operational workflows (handoffs, escalations, compliance-driven wording)
Familiarity with TZLA’s operating environment: Notion, Telegram, Zendesk, Google Workspace
Bilingual English/Spanish
Core Tech Stack
Notion: Primary operating system for documentation, workflows, copy review, and knowledge storage
Communications: Telegram, Google Workspace
Support Signals: Zendesk (and related support channels)
KPIs You Will Own
Drafting cycle time: intake accepted → completed draft (ready for SME review)
On-time delivery (Content team scope only): % of items delivered to “Ready for SME review” by the agreed internal due date
Aging backlog in Content-controlled stages: count (or %) of items sitting in “Drafting/Editing” longer than X days
Coverage of intake signals: % of top recurring questions/workflows that have a published article/tree
Time-to-first-answer artifact: median time from “topic accepted into backlog” → first publish (v1) for priority items
Maintenance hygiene: % of high-traffic content reviewed on schedule
