Job Description

TZLA Club, a Private Membership Association pioneering plasma technology, is seeking a visionary accounting leader to help our operations during an exciting growth phase. You'll take charge of transforming our manual bookkeeping processes into cutting-edge systems while maintaining the highest standards of management. This is an extraordinary opportunity to architect our accounting function from the ground up, with clear potential to advance into a Director-level position as we expand.

How does this job look like?

As an Accounting Manager/Controller, you'll lead hands-on accounting operations while driving automation initiatives. The role requires expertise in both traditional accounting practices and modern technology solutions (crypto experience is a must).

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Lead Hands-On Accounting: Manage day-to-day GL, R2R, O2C, and P2P processes in a manual environment (Google Sheets, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
• Drive Automation: Transition us to SaaS platforms with API integrations (ERP, AP automation, crypto-friendly tools)
• Own Crypto Accounting: Track and reconcile crypto ledgers alongside traditional routes (Trezor, exchanges)
• Build Processes: Implement controls and workflows as we evolve out of our bootstrap stage
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with ops/manufacturing to track inventory, COGS, and assembly costs

How does the role feel like?

You'll need to be comfortable executing line-level tasks while designing scalable solutions for tomorrow. This role requires someone who thrives in ambiguity and takes a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.

You'll need to be proficient in various digital facilitation tools, visual collaboration platforms, and have excellent group dynamics management skills. We use modern digital tools for remote and hybrid collaboration and expect strong abilities in both virtual and in-person facilitation.

What we are looking for?

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years as a Controller or Accounting Manager, preferably with experience in non-profits and in manufacturing/assembly

Preferred Skills:

• Mastery of manual bookkeeping (Google Sheets, Excel, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros)
• Deep GL knowledge and full-cycle accounting (R2R, O2C, P2P)
• Experience with crypto accounting and SaaS/ERP implementations
• Experience with Inflow, Revolut, Google, Go High Level, and manufacturing focused ERPs

Nice to Haves

• Familiarity with USMCA/trade compliance for cross-border operations
